TEACHER WANTED:
Sunshine Alternative Education is hiring secondary teachers Science (with knowledge of Earth and Space Science and Biology, along with Labs) Lesson planning and grade reporting
Qualifications:
Experience in secondary education Knowledge of content area certified or working on certification (current or retired) strong leadership skillsteam player
Position:
Mon-Fri 8:30-2:30, following school calendar Sept-JuneSalary based on experience, starting approx $25 About our program: Sunshine Alternative Education Center is a non-public charter school for high school students who haven’t found success in the typical setting. Our students have struggled in their home districts for various reasons, such as anxiety, depression, school refusal, past drug use, family issues, etc. and require an environment built on understanding and patience. SAEC provides both academic and social/emotional support that is designed to facilitate growth and success in all areas of education and mental health. Program enrolls 12-15 students in grades 9-12.
