High School Chemistry Teacher 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 345 School House Lane, Millville, PA 17846 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and development. This role requires expertise in various scientific disciplines, including chemistry, honors chemistry, Science 7, and Forensics, along with a commitment to mentoring students and supporting their academic journeys. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Teach subjects related to science, including but not limited to chemistry, general science, and Forensic science. Utilize effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment. Provide individualized support to students with special education needs. Mentor students in their academic pursuits and encourage critical thinking skills. Assess student performance through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance library services and integrate resources into the curriculum. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on educational best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry Education; teaching certification required. Strong knowledge of science subjects, particularly chemistry, general science, and Forensic science. Experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques. Ability to calculate and analyze data relevant to scientific studies and experiments. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous experience in mentoring or tutoring is highly desirable. Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all students.
