Job Description
Position- High School Science Teacher Qualifications

Education:

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university.
A current and valid PA Biology 7-12 Teaching Certificate through the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Additional Secondary Science Certifications Preferred.
Other Information
Reports to: Building Principal

Terms of Employment:

Days of service, length of day, salaries and benefits as outlined in current collective bargaining agreement.

To plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that promotes student learning of concepts and skills; guides and encourages students to grow and develop; and facilitates the vision that every child will be prepared individually to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
