Adjunct Astronomy Instructor State of South Carolina Spartanburg County, SC $49.95-56.63 per hour Temporary Part-time 1 hour ago Job Responsibilities The adjunct instructor for astronomy will be responsible for: teaching introductory and advanced courses in astronomy, developing course curriculum, lesson plans, and course materials, evaluating student progress and providing constructive feedback to help students succeed. Minimum and Additional Requirements Master’s Degree in Astronomy or Physics or a Master’s Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Astronomy or Physics Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching experience with both traditional and online formats Additional Comments Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Policy Spartanburg Community College is committed to both effective business management and equitable treatment of employees.
