All positions are part-time (but can build to full-time), and you can determine your schedule! Our school operates from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Design and deliver engaging, student-centered science lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles. Provide instruction in various scientific subjects, such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science. Conduct scientific research and experiments to enhance classroom instruction. Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback and support. Manage student behavior in the classroom and enforce school policies. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and current educational trends. Proficiency in using technology for instructional purposes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written). A passion for teaching and inspiring students to explore the world of science. Ability to engage students in active learning and critical thinking. Effective classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment.
