Preschool Gymnastics Instructor The Peach Pit 50 Aviator Plaza, Saint Simons Island, GA 31522 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and experience working with children. This role involves teaching gymnastics skills, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive environment for students of all ages and skill levels. The Gymnastics Instructor will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, ensuring safety during practices, and encouraging personal growth among students. Duties Instruct students in various gymnastics techniques and routines, ensuring proper form and safety. Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to different skill levels. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Maintain a safe and clean training environment by adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns. Organize and participate in gymnastics events, competitions, or exhibitions as needed. Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, discipline, and respect among students. Skills Strong background in gymnastics or related sports coaching experience. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively handle diverse student needs. Familiarity with other sports such as cheerleading, karate, basketball, or lifeguarding is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff effectively. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that motivate students to learn and improve. Strong organizational skills to manage class schedules and student progress. $15.00 – $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Schedule:

4 hour shift 8 hour shift After school Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
