Kids Camp Director Position Available In Whitfield, Georgia

Kid’s Camp Director 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 333 Country Club Way, Dalton, GA 30721 Dalton Golf & Country club is seeking a Kids Camp Director for 3 weeks in the summer to oversee the operations and activities of our kids summer camp program. The Camp Director will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for campers, managing staff, and ensuring the overall success of the camp.

Duties:

• Develop and implement camp programs and activities that align with the camp’s mission and goals
• Hire, train, and supervise camp staff
• Create schedules and assign duties to staff members
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
• Administration staff will handle camper registration process, including enrollment, medical forms, and payments with assistance from the camp counselor
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding camp updates, policies, and any concerns or issues
• Handle any emergencies or incidents that may arise during camp sessions
• Evaluate the effectiveness of camp programs and make necessary adjustments for improvement

Skills:

• Ability to engage with children between the ages of 4 and 11
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in education preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Experience working with students in a camp or educational setting preferred
