Responsibilities
Canyon Ranch is looking for a part-time Tennis Pro at our Lenox, MA location. As a Tennis Pro/Instructor, you will be responsible for instructing lessons and clinics offered by the Racquet Sports Department ensuring high quality guest service and professionalism at all times.
Instruction:
All Pros effectively employ knowledge and experience to conduct private lessons and clinics offered by the Racquet Sports Department to Canyon Ranch guests. Ensures the well-being of the guests during all Racquet Sports activities. Tennis Pros run private lessons, group clinics, guest tournaments to every level of player skill, beginner through expert. Oversees maintenance of courts, equipment and ordering of equipment as needed.
Equipment:
Ensures the care of all equipment, keeps all courts and work areas clean including the indoor and outdoor courts and Racquet Sports office.
Safety:
Follows all safety requirements and ensures guest and fellow staff member safety at all times. Reports unsafe equipment or conditions to manager immediately. Qualifications
Experience:
3-5 years previous teaching experience in racquet sports required
Requirements:
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
Education:
Associate degree or two-year equivalent specialized training or experience required.
Certification:
Must have USPTA certification
Schedule:
You need to be available Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, high-attention to detail and the ability to work well with a variety of people in a team environment.
