Project Adventure- High Ropes Course Instructor Pilgrim Day Camp 1 Badger Road, Framingham, MA 01702 We are hiring a Project Adventure / High Ropes Course Specialist to lead and support adventure-based programming on our ropes course. This position requires a dynamic, safety-conscious individual who enjoys working with children and diverse groups in an outdoor setting. This is not a summer-only position. Candidates must be available for the full summer season (late June-August) AND for part-time work in the fall (September-November), including weekdays during school hours for field trips, team-building groups, birthday parties, and other special events. No prior ropes experience is necessary — we provide all training. Responsibilities Facilitate high ropes and team-building activities for campers during the summer and for schools, private events, and community programs in the fall. Guide participants safely through our new two-level static high ropes course using best practices. Lead group games and ground-based initiatives that promote trust, communication, and personal growth. Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for participants of varying ages and ability levels. Complete equipment checks and assist in course maintenance. Support event setup and logistics for fall programs. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. Must be available full-time during the summer and part-time in the fall (especially weekdays during school hours ). Interest in experiential education, outdoor recreation, and youth development. Strong leadership, communication, and group management skills. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and manage physically active tasks. Previous experience with ropes courses, climbing, or facilitation is a bonus, but not required — we provide full training and certification.
