Job Description:

Characteristics of Work Under the direction of the Children’sServices Director, the Mentor Teacher will provide mentoring toclassroom staff through guidance, coaching, modeling, training,support, and information in the following areas (CLASS, TS Gold,Classroom Management, Curriculum planning/lesson plans, classroomset up, Transitions, and other areas as identified). This positionworks closely with the teaching staff and the Children’s ServicesDirector to coordinate classroom-related activities that supportstaff Professional Development and contribute to successful childoutcomes. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Early ChildhoodEducation or a related field, two (2) years experience working withpreschool children and families in a child development program, andthe ability to communicate effectively.
