The ideal candidate will be experienced in teaching a range of tumbling skills—from beginner rolls and cartwheels to advanced aerials and back handsprings—and is enthusiastic about working with children and teens of all skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead weekly tumble classes for students aged 2-18 at various skill levels Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback Ensure a safe and positive learning environment Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff Collaborate with the studio director and fellow instructors on curriculum and events Support special events such as performances, camps, or studio showcases
Qualifications:
Previous experience teaching tumbling, gymnastics, cheer, or acro preferred Strong understanding of progressions, spotting techniques, and safety standards Comfortable working with toddlers, children, and teens Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and classroom management ability CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Must pass background check
Schedule:
Evening and/or weekend availability preferred Summer and school-year positions available
