Camp Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are a 5 Star Child Care Center seeking a Camp Counselor for the summer months . You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while creating memorable experiences in a fun and safe camp environment. This is a paid position that offers valuable experience working with children and the opportunity for personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage campers in various activities, including arts and crafts, sports, theater, and games
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and programs
- Lessons plans are requires each week with a different theme
- Follow all camp policies and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a camp setting, daycare, or classroom management preferred
- First aid and CPR certification is a required and you must have BSAC
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Passion for working with children and helping them develop new skills
- Must have a current qualifying letter and TB and a physical
