As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for campers. You will be responsible for leading activities and ensuring the well-being of all participants. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and have a background in education or related fields. Duties Supervise and engage campers in various activities, including arts and crafts, sports, outdoor play and field trips. Develop and implement age-appropriate programs that promote learning, teamwork, and personal growth. Foster a positive camp culture by encouraging inclusivity, respect, and cooperation among campers. Ensure the safety of all campers by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns that may arise. Participate in staff training sessions to enhance skills in first aid, classroom management, and conflict resolution. Skills Ideal candidates will possess the following skills: Early childhood education experience is a MUST. Strong classroom management abilities to maintain a positive environment. Sports coaching experience to lead physical activities effectively is a plus. A passion for working with children and the ability to create memorable experiences through engaging programming.
