Summer Camp Teacher ABC Me Grow Child Daycare and Learning Center 533 Sicklerville Road, Williamstown, NJ 08094 Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for campers. You will be responsible for supervising daily activities, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring that each camper has a memorable experience. Ideal candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children. The children range from ages 5 to 10. Duties Supervise and engage with campers during various activities including sports, arts and crafts, and educational sessions. Implement behavior management techniques to maintain a positive environment. Assist in planning and leading group activities that promote teamwork and cooperation. Provide support in tutoring or educational activities as needed, catering to the diverse needs of campers. Foster an inclusive atmosphere by accommodating campers with special needs or those requiring additional support. Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times. Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and any concerns that may arise. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in classroom management, sports coaching, and other relevant areas. Requirements Experience working with students or children in a camp setting is preferred. Strong skills in behavior management and classroom management techniques. Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for education, outdoor activities, and fostering personal growth among youth is essential.
