un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ 3 Day Mini Environmental Summer Camp, Teacher Needed (Charleston) compensation: $50 per hour, $200 per day employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Teacher/Chaperone, Mini Summer Camp We’re looking for an experienced teacher or camp counselor to assist with a brief 3-day summer camp for youth in the Eastside on the Peninsula in late July. Hours are tentatively 11am – 3pm. $200/day. The camp is being hosted by the Charleston Climate Coalition, a nonprofit, and the neighborhood association, the Eastside Community Development Corporation. This position will primarily be responsible for assisting the on-site hosts and guest instructors with chaperoning youth. Camp activities will center around plants, gardening, the Gullah Culture, and Lowcountry history. Preference for candidates with classroom experience, either in K-12 education or as a camp counselor.
