OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaches students academic, behavioral, and social skills following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. This position will require staff to work within multiple content areas and grade levels within the middle school setting. Staff will need to work collaboratively with a multitude of teachers and related service team members to ensure fidelity of the implementation of IEP and support student learning. Teacher may be co-teaching academic classes and or teaching within a small instruction classroom.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Must hold an appropriate valid Illinois Professional Educators License with appropriate LBS1 endorsement. Ideal candidate will have co-teaching experience, a passion for skill-based studies, experience writing IEP goals, and an ability to lead IEP meetings.
