Teacher Greater Faith Academy 16357 Highway 69 S, Moundville, AL 35474 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive learning environment for students, focusing on their academic and personal growth. This position requires a strong commitment to educating children, implementing effective lesson plans, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain discipline and promote respect among students. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists to address individual student needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior. Stay informed about childhood development trends and best practices in education. Skills Proficient in lesson planning with the ability to create tailored educational experiences for diverse learners. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and their application in an educational setting. Experience working with children in various capacities, including toddler care and special education. Effective classroom management skills to create a structured and nurturing learning environment. Ability to educate students effectively while fostering their emotional and social growth. Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support at-risk students. Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
