We are currently seeking candidates to join our team as an Inclusion Consultant. This role covers a territory of 6 counties to provide training and consultation to teachers, pre-school teachers, caregivers, and parents to assist them in recognizing and addressing developmental delays in children from ages birth – 8 years of age. Duties and Responsibilities:
Travel and cover a 6 county region. Develop, prepare, and customize training programs that address developmental delays in preschoolers. Develop informational handouts for children, caregivers, and teachers. Deliver training information in a seminar style format for teachers. Observes children on-site in a classroom setting. Consults, observes, and provides technical assistance with equipment. Provide required documentation. Applicants’ general qualifications include: Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or a related field is required. Valid driver’s license required. Minimum of 5 years previous teaching experience in early childhood setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills preferred. Basic computer and PowerPoint presentation skills preferred. Understanding of adult learning is preferred.
