3y-4y old teacher Little Scholars Academy of Sherwood 2400 Wildwood Avenue, Sherwood, AR 72120 We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. You will play a vital role in their educational and social development.

Duties:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Foster a love for learning through engaging and interactive teaching methods
• Provide individualized attention and support to students
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive behavior management techniques
• Utilize technology and other resources to enhance learning opportunities

Skills:

• Classroom management: Ability to create an organized and structured learning environment
• Experience working with children: Understanding of child development principles and ability to engage with children of different ages
• Preschool/early childhood education experience: Familiarity with early childhood education curriculum and best practices

• Caregiving:

  Ability to provide nurturing care and support to students’ physical, emotional, and social needs

• Toddler care: Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and strategies for working with toddlers
• Childhood development: Understanding of the stages of child development and ability to tailor teaching methods accordingly
• Special education: Knowledge of special education strategies and accommodations for students with diverse needs
