This general posting is to generate an applicant pool for Elementary and Secondary Instructional Lead Teacher openings. POSITION OVERVIEW
The LRSD Instructional Lead Teacher will support classroom teachers in improving instruction by increasing rigor, consistency, student engagement, differentiation of instruction, and utilization of performance assessments. Furthermore, the Instructional Leadership Teacher will provide a stable resource for professional development, progress monitoring, and student data analysis to help the schools improve instruction and student achievement across all groups in the assigned subject area.

Precise placement within the salary range will be determined based on education and experience.
FLSA:
EXEMPT This position is reviewed annually and is contingent upon grant funding and/or the needs identified within the school site. The Instructional Lead Teacher will report to the Building Principal.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Promotes the fidelity of core classroom instruction through regular, effective planning, use of district curriculum, adopted resources, proven instructional practices, and assessments.
Utilizes coaching strategies including modeling, guidance, and collaboration/reflection to fully implement LRSD curriculum, instructional design, and materials.
Disaggregates and uses student, school and district data to guide instructional conversations and collaboration with school leadership team, individual classroom teachers, and groups of teachers.
Assist teachers in utilizing current and upcoming technologies to engage and enhance student learning.
Serves as an instructional leader for the school focusing on raising the rigor of instruction and the level of academic achievement for all students.
Provides supplemental assistance to identified students.
Plans and delivers professional development at the school and district level.
Attends identified training, implements new learning, and serves as a liaison between the school and elementary curriculum department.
Supports the PLC process by working collaboratively in recurring cycles of collective inquiry and action research to achieve better results for the students they serve.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Arkansas teaching certificate for appropriate grade-level
Master’s degree in education, curriculum, instruction, or reading preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with previous successful experience in similar roles. Three or more years of successful teaching in elementary or secondary grades including the use of instructional practices and curriculum required in LRSD. Prior successful experience(s) planning and presenting professional development to colleagues or other educators.
Successful experience in teaching students in small groups to meet grade level expectations. Evidence of strong oral and written communication skills.
Such alternatives and additions to the above qualifications may be deemed appropriate by the Superintendent. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may require.

- Resume, certification, and reference letters are required in order for the application to be reviewed
- Step Two—Applications will be reviewed and screened. Applicants who pass the screening process will be invited to participate in the Instructional Lead Teacher pool interview day on the date below. Invited applicants will participate in a series of individual and group interview activities during the interview day. 07/09/25

Your complete application must be submitted by Tuesday, June 17th, to be considered for the Instructional Lead Teacher Pool Interview Day.
Step Three—Applicants who demonstrate satisfactory competencies during the interview day will be placed in the LRSD Instructional Lead Teacher pool. Once an actual Instructional Lead Teacher vacancy has been identified, individuals admitted into the LRSD Instructional Lead Teacher pool will be eligible to interview or be appointed to a vacant Instructional Lead Teacher position.
