The Overnight Mentoring Specialist provides direct, trauma-informed care and supervision to youth in a Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) during overnight hours while being alert. This role ensures a safe, structured, and supportive environment while building therapeutic rapport and modeling positive behaviors. The Overnight Mentoring Specialist monitors client safety, responds to behavioral or emotional needs, assists with bedtime routines and encourages healthy habits, and documents overnight activities in accordance with state licensing and QRTP standards. Collaboration with clinical and residential staff is essential to support continuity of care.
