Job Description
Special Education Teacher Pomfret Community School 20 Pomfret St, Pomfret Center, CT 06259 Pomfret Community School is seeking a full-time special education teacher. We are seeking applicants with training in specialized reading and math programs, technology skills and inclusionary practices. The qualified candidate will plan, implement, assess and document instruction for individual and/or small groups of students in accordance with IEPs. The qualified candidate will be a strong communicator and collaborator with other professionals on the team.
Requirements:
Comprehensive Special Education Certification 165 or 065, ability to work with children and pass a criminal background check.
