This role is crucial in delivering high-quality patient care in various settings, including home care, urgent care, and medical offices. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff. Provide support in the administration of medications as directed by healthcare professionals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas. Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility or home environment. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient service. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by fostering a safe and supportive environment. Qualifications Previous experience in home care or a medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is a plus. Knowledge of urgent care and emergency medicine practices is beneficial. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
