Requirements You Might Be the Perfect Fit if

You:
  • Hold a high school diploma or GED, have completed DCF hours, and are able to pass a background check. Additionally, you should possess one of the following: a degree in ECE or Child Development or an Associate’s degree or higher along with six hours in ECE or CD.
  • Have genuine empathy and understanding of children’s needs and development.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.
