Advanced Pain Management & Spine Specialists | South Fort Myers, FL Job Summary Advanced Pain Management & Spine Specialists, led by Dr. Jonathan Daitch, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medicare Billing Specialist to join our high-volume, fast-paced outpatient surgical practice. This is a full-time, on-site position with a supportive team and great office culture. As a Medicare Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing medical billing processes, ensuring accurate coding and billing for Medicare services. Reporting to the insurance Team Leads, you will utilize your core skills in medical collections, EHR systems, and medical terminology to maintain patient records and facilitate seamless billing operations. coding, and medical billing will be essential in optimizing revenue cycle management. Responsibilities Accurately prepare and submit Medicare claims for outpatient services and procedures Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) or Medicare Remittance Advices (MRAs) for accuracy Work with CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes in compliance with CMS regulations Review and follow up on remittance advice and denials Navigate Medicare billing guidelines, modifiers, and NCCI edits Collaborate closely with our front desk, coding, and clinical teams to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement Maintain organized documentation and meet timely filing requirements Qualifications/Preferences Previous Medicare billing experience required Solid understanding of Medicare Part B billing and current CMS guidelines required Experience with denial management and appeals required Proficiency in billing software ( eClinicalWorks is a plus) preferred Proficiency in NextGen & SPOT (Secure Provider Online Tool) preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Why Join Us?
