We are currently looking for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support students in Tallahassee, FL for the 2025-2026 school year.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Visual Disabilities or related field Florida Educator Certificate with an endorsement in Visually Impaired (K-12), issued by the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) Competency in braille instruction and assistive technology Clear background screening per FLDOE and district policy

Job Duties:

Provide direct instruction in Braille, low vision aids, and adaptive techniques Support students in academic, social, and independent living skill development Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and families to tailor instruction Utilize assistive technology and train students in its use Track progress and maintain compliance documentation
