The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that fosters learning and growth for all students. This role requires a commitment to developing engaging lesson plans, implementing effective classroom management strategies, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with autism. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly and respectful atmosphere. Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Provide individualized support and mentorship to students, promoting their academic and social development. Incorporate Montessori principles where applicable to enhance student engagement. Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and activities. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians. Organize library services to facilitate access to educational resources for students. Experience Proven experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management. Familiarity with working with children on the autism spectrum is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff. Background in childcare or mentoring roles is beneficial. Experience in implementing Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.
