Autism Mentor – RBT Minds Unstuck Miami Beach, FL 33140 About the Role At Minds Unstuck, we support individuals with sensory, motor, and communication differences by helping them—and their families—build meaningful, lasting change. As a Mentor RBT, you’ll work one-on-one with clients as part of a small, but multi-faceted innovative team. You’ll implement supportive, practical strategies that build autonomy, communication, regulation, and overall whole-being wellness for our clients and their families. This isn’t just about behavior plans or goals on paper—it’s about showing up in real life, building trust, and helping people feel safe and capable in their own bodies, relationships, and routines. This ABA environment is one like you’ve probably experienced before. We combine the science of behavior analysis, neurology and psychology in our approach, and are looking to grow our program into something more people can access. We do things differently, and we need people who want to learn, unlearn, and be part of a team that chooses what feels right over what feels easy. What You’ll Do Provide direct support to clients using care plans designed by a supervising BCBA. Help clients build skills in communication, self-regulation, and everyday autonomy and wellness. Support families and caregivers by modeling strategies and integrating them into daily routines. Track and report client progress clearly and accurately. Communicate observations and concerns to your supervising BCBA in a timely, respectful way. Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training. Work collaboratively with other professionals to support each client’s overall well-being. What You Bring RBT certification (or an interest in getting certified). Experience or interest in neuro-affirming, trauma-informed approaches. A grounded, calm presence—even in high-stress or emotionally intense situations. Strong communication skills with clients, families, and teammates. Commitment to client privacy and ethical practices, including HIPAA compliance.
