Qualifications:

Teacher’s Experience (required•Bachelor’s degree. A letter of eligibility from FLDOE, a temporary teaching certificate, OR a professional teaching certificate. Teacher’s Experience (preferred)•At least 2 years experience working with children with or without disabilities. DCF 45 hour’s childcare training or willingness to obtain (within 90 days of hire. Must be able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures at low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children. Manage classroom behavior and create a supportive learning environment. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to ensure effective communication and support for students. Design and deliver engaging lesson plans in literacy and math, adapting materials as necessary. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to facilitate learning and development. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and behavior.
