The ideal candidate will work closely with students, particularly those with special needs, to enhance their learning experiences and promote their academic and social development. This role is essential in fostering an inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child can thrive. Duties Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities. Provide one-on-one support to students, particularly those with special education needs or disabilities. Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment. Support students in their academic tasks, including subjects such as math and literacy. Collaborate with teachers to develop and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students. Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents regarding student progress. Assist in the care of preschool or toddler-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to special education, classroom management, and working with diverse learners. Experience Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas: Working with preschool-aged children or toddlers. Supporting students with special education needs or disabilities. Classroom management techniques to foster a productive learning environment. Familiarity with IEPs and strategies for implementing individualized learning plans. Experience in deaf education or working with children who have hearing impairments is a plus. A background in private school settings is beneficial but not required.
