Child Development Associate Certification Full Job Description Job Summary:
The CCR&R Specialist serves in a responsible position and may independently handle a variety of situations involving interactions with parents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary point of contact for parents for all Coalition related issues Receives and maintains record of all correspondences from parents in assigned area Updates and maintains provider/parent information in system of record Interviews parents and determines eligibility for the School Readiness and VPK programs Educate parents on all determination and re-determination policies and procedures Notifies parents of expiring and/or additional required documentation Accurately maintains and updates data in the Enhance Field System (EFS) on a daily basis, including CCRR Maintains up-to-date case file notes Educate parents on the types of available child care in Miami Dade County Educate parents on how to identify and select quality child care settings Interview parents using the
EFS CCRR
referral system to document the parent’s needs to generate non-biased referrals, as available in the geographic area Develop and maintain a list of available community resources for family support; provide referrals to meet their needs Performs related duties as required
Training Requirements:
Complete the required Florida’s Office of Early Learning CCRR Specialist trainings Successfully complete the Level 1 and 2 Evaluations within the required timeframes Successfully complete the Enhances Field Systems training required for
Eligibility and CCRR Experience and Training:
High School, CDA or AA degree Minimum of two years of management/administrative or customer service experience XJ6
