The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students, particularly in preschool settings. This role involves working closely with children to support their academic and social development, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and utilizing various teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of students. Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support student development. Utilize speech therapy techniques as needed to assist students with communication challenges. Provide early intervention strategies for students requiring additional support. Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing behavioral therapy techniques when necessary. Offer tutoring sessions for students needing extra help in subjects such as math or literacy. Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress, including IEP documentation. Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification required . Experience working in preschool settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of speech therapy, early intervention strategies, and behavioral management techniques is a plus. Strong proofreading skills for preparing instructional materials and reports. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, and adaptability in addressing the diverse needs of students. Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
