Job Description

Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. There are also roles that require being on-site full time. Limited remote opportunities may be available within specific departments. You’ll learn more about this during the recruitment process.

JOB SUMMARY

Supports the Early Careers team to effectively ideate, develop, execute and deliver a wide range of initiatives for Universal Beginnings. Maintains and supports innovation of HR tools, processes, communications, and systems to optimize knowledge and resources available to early careers candidates. Builds and leverages partnerships with HR functional teams and key stakeholders both locally and globally, to promote symphony and maximize effectiveness of UDX Early Career Programs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops compelling creative, graphic design, visual communication and typography layouts for newsletters, cohort updates and other communication materials. Participates in the decision making and supports strategic semester curriculum planning and yearly calendar timelines. Maintains clear and consistent communication with program participants, mentors and stakeholders. Supports SharePoint site upgrades and maintenance.

Drives and supports collaborative early careers events and networking sessions with UDX leaders across UOR. Hosts information sessions for internal and external partners to assess interest and generate enthusiasm for our programs. Partners with cross-organizational teams (e.g., NBCU and Comcast) to facilitate meetings, create resources, monitor timelines, and track progress on milestones. Identifies opportunities for effective alignment.

Supports both early career program participants and hiring leaders serving as a direct program resource. Engages in the creation and delivery of Early Career Program Information Sessions to ensure participants are consistently and proactively well-informed and business leaders are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to support and develop participants effectively, fostering a positive and productive experience.

Gathers and utilizes data and information from various internal and industry sources to continuously recommend and deliver innovative enhancements for early career tools, processes and communications. Supports administrative functions relating to extensions, stipends, and shared email inbox administration.

Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degre in Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, or General Business/Project Management field is required.

EXPERIENCE

1+ year in Human Resources, Project Management support, Communication/Training or Business/Professional function is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Understanding of latest web technologies and services; basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is preferred.

Adept at utilizing LinkedIn and other social networks.
