General Summary :

The Educational Certified ESE Teacher is expected to understand and demonstrate the use of the school’s curriculum, student instruction, and assessment to maximize educational achievement for all students, while working collaboratively to ensure a working and learning climate for all students that is safe, secure and respectful.

The teacher is responsible for the implementation and instruction based upon the Florida Standards aligned with lesson plans, the development of individualized education goals and its implementation (IEP), ongoing use of data collection to monitor student progress, learning gains in which all that drive instruction, effectively manage the learning environment, model clear, acceptable oral and written communication skills, collaborate with classroom team, participate in ongoing professional development, and perform all general classroom duties.

Qualifications:

Must hold a Florida Educator Certificate, or have applied for one with a current application to the Department of Education prior to being cleared as a full-time classroom teacher.
