Summary
This position is responsible for front desk operations at Riverside Youth Enrichment Center. This position is responsible for assisting customers with outstanding customer service. This position performs a variety of customer service and specialized clerical work including weing families to the childcare center and answering any questions or concerns of patrons, handling sensitive information confidentially, monitoring sign-in and sign-out, processing childcare registration and other program enrollment, processing lunches, preparing deposits and other day-to-day financial operations, answering phones, and preparing documents to share with families. This position must have the following credentials: Department of Children and Families 45 hours of childcare classes (or the ability toplete within 90 days of employment), Infant/Child CPR, and First Aid Certification.
This position performs a variety of customer service and specialized clerical work. This position will address daily customer service needs including answering calls andmunicating with internal and external customers.
Essential Function Duties and Responsibilities
Greets all visitors to Public Service, providing courteous and efficient customer service
Performs specialist clerical work
Answers ining calls and routes callers or provides information as required
Obtains, receives, and distributes iing mail, and processes outgoing mail
Types a variety of correspondences, reports, memoranda, and other material requiring judgement as to content, accuracy andpleteness
Schedules appointments and travel plans, as required
Assists with maintaining division telephone listings
Receives deliveries and directs them to the appropriate person(s)
Responsible for entering purchase orders for the purchase of materials and supplies; responsible for processing invoices for payment
Collects data and runs reports as needed
Provides coverage for the Administrative Assistant when he/she is out of the office
Procures goods/services through purchase orders and/or a purchasing card
Acts as liaison with utilitypanies and monitors account billing and usage Performs various clerical duties as assigned and assists as support staff when necessary
Performs duties as assigned and schedule during emergency response conditions
Performs any other duties as required or assigned
Reconciles statements, invoices and project expenditures Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Considerable clerical experience
Any relatedbination of education, training and experience
Special Qualifications/Preferences
Valid State of Florida Driver’s License with a good driving record
