Teacher Glades Academy Inc. Pahokee, FL 33476 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in a private school setting, and possess a strong commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to manage a classroom while catering to the diverse needs of students, including those requiring special education support. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the varying learning styles of students. Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes social and emotional development. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a respectful and productive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements. Provide individualized support to students as needed, including those with special educational needs. Assess student performance through various methods and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and share best practices. Maintain an organized classroom that is conducive to learning and exploration. Skills Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Familiarity with private school environments is preferred. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
