The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. You will be responsible for planning engaging activities, fostering a love for learning, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students. Engage children in various activities that promote learning through play, including arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play. Observe and assess children’s progress in development and learning, providing feedback to parents as needed. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the overall educational goals of the preschool. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Strong caregiving skills with experience in toddler care and infant care. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
