Qualifications:

Valid Florida certification in Deaf or Hard of Hearing Experience working with K-12 students, preferably across various grade levels Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Knowledge of assistive technology and resources for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Collaborative mindset to work effectively with staff, students, and families

Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Collaborate with educators and specialists to adapt curriculum and materials Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Facilitate communication and social skills development among peers Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as required
