Teacher Creative Pathways Preparatory Academy Edgewater, FL 32141 Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and passionate Teacher’s to join our educational team at CPPA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, providing individualized tutoring, and managing classroom behavior to support the academic and social development of students. We have the following positions available, lead teacher grades 3-5, lead teacher grades 9-12, lead teacher grades 5-8. Science and History teacher grades 5-12. Our classes are mixed ages and involve lots of hands on learning. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students. Provide tutoring and individualized lesson plans to support to students overall academic performance. Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and encourages student participation. Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to ensure a comprehensive approach to each child’s education. Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior. Requirements Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to each student Familiarity with all learning styles and able to adjust curriculum accordingly Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a supportive learning environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively. A degree in Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience.
