Middle School Teachers, Except Special and Career/Technical Education Position Available In Dougherty, Georgia

The Middle School Teacher is responsible for teaching one or more subjects to students at the Middle school level. Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities. Instruct throughlectures, discussions, and demonstrations in one or more subjects, such as Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, Social studies or General curriculum. Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, andcommunicate those objectives to students. Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students. Adapt teaching methods and instructionalmaterials to meet students needs and interests. Communicate progress and concerns tactfully and professionally to parents and, as appropriate, other faculty, staff, and principal.

Participate in faculty meetings, educational conferences, workshops, and other training seminars. Use computer literacy skills, different software, and technological advances in teaching.

Maintain required paperwork for individual student files, attendance, incident reports, and other records. Enforce all administration policies, safety, security standards, and rules governingstudents.
