This position is loced in the Use of Force Branch (UOF), Enforcement Operions Division (EOD) under the Core Training Operions Directore (CTO) and loced in Glynco, Georgia. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Law Enforcement Specialist (Enforcement Operions Instructor) responsible for planning and conducting classroom, laborory, and/or field instruction sessions as part of the division’s training programs.

Typical duties include:

Serving as a field and classroom instructor in the assigned Enforcement Operions Division (EOD) course areas of law enforcement. Conducting training in areas such as the: Active Shooter Thre Instructor Training Program; Active Shooter Thre Training Program; Use of Force Instructor Training Program; Basic Tactics Training Program; and Wildland Fire Investigions.

Teaching courses including:

Vehicle Search, Radio Communicions, Woodland Operions, Tracking, Care Under Fire, Principles of Camouflage, Land Navigion, Prol Skills, Operional Planning, Documention and Report Writing, Continuing Case Operions, Surveillance, Use of Force Basic/Advanced, Basic Tactical Skills High Intensity Training, Officer Safety and Survival, and Active Thre Response Tactics. Using life experiences from law enforcement to enhance course content and respond to student questions. Using judgment to adjust to immedie training needs such as repeing merial, slowing or increasing the pace of the class, or addressing individual learning needs. Specialized Experience:

You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the federal service, or equivalent experience in the prive or public sector performing the following duties, performing duties such as: Performing law enforcement duties th require me to: carry and qualify with a firearm; make arrests; develop reasonable suspicion/probable cause to conduct frisks and searches incident to arrest; train and evalue officers/agents in the proper applicion of use of force techniques; radio communicions; prol skills and operional planning; vehicle searches; report writing; surveillance; law enforcement tactical techniques; and/or active shooter response.
