Front Desk Receptionist/Client Care Specialist 2.2 2.2 out of 5 stars 5324 Five Forks Trickum Rd SW, Lilburn, GA 30047 Animal Care Receptionist/Client Care Specialist At MPAH we promote a hardworking and caring family atmosphere. Our goal is to provide excellent medical care, with exceptional customer service, while we work to educate our clients in the care of their pets. Client Care Specialists (CCS) facilitate the check-in and check-out of all patients entering the hospital, notating as accurately as possible the questions and concerns of the clients regarding the health and care of their pets needing to be addressed by the doctors and staff. It is our goal to not only improve the lives of our patients and clients, but our staff as well. Therefore, all Full-Time employees are eligible for continuing education aid after one full year of employment. All continuing education must pertain to their regular job responsibilities.
Responsibilties:
(Include, but are not limited to)
General:
Greet clients & answer phone calls in a pleasant, smiling and courteous manner. Create electronic medical records for new clients/patients. Acquire/update medical record information from outside clinics/hospitals. Call and/or email daily heartworm prevention reminders. Send spay and neuter reminders each month to eligible puppies and kittens. Update the Lost and Found/Adoptions bulletin board on a monthly basis. Call to confirm next day’s appointments. Send Welcome, Thank You and Sympathy cards to clients as needed. Scan/import paperwork and outside records that are physically sumbitted to hospital.
Schedule appointments for:
Outpatient visits Surgery Boarding Baths Other various treatments
Maintain:
Stock of all over the counter products Cleanliness of lobby and reception area Office supplies, forms, and equipment
Hospital Visits:
Check-in patients for appointments notating all concerns of the owner. Check-out appointments Prepare invoice for each visit. Review the invoice and charges with the client Review medication instructions Collect/post payments Reinforce discharge instructions Follow up with clients after visits
Requirements:
Multi-task efficiently Basic knowledge on vaccine schedules for dogs/cats of any age Self motivated Excellent communication skills Compassion Aptitude for learning new tasks 11 Hour Days – Four days a week 1 Hour lunch breaks
