Job Responsibilities Rehab Tech Support & Wellness Transition Assist physical therapists with supervised low-complexity orthopedic treatments. Set up, clean, and operate wellness technologies including Neubie and Tecar Therapy devices. Ensure all therapy and treatment areas are cleaned and sanitized between patient sessions. Support patients transitioning out of therapy by introducing them to tailored wellness and maintenance programs. Patient Engagement & Operational Excellence Serve as the first point of contact, offering a warm, welcoming, and professional presence for all patients. Use Prompt EMR and generative AI tools to support patient outreach, follow-ups, and engagement tracking. Coordinate with physical therapists to follow up with patients who may need additional emotional support or motivation. Convert physician referrals and patient inquiries into scheduled evaluations or follow-up appointments. Scheduling, Billing & Coordination Maintain accurate and efficient provider calendars using Prompt EMR. Verify insurance benefits and authorizations; collect co-pays and self-payments with professionalism and confidentiality. Communicate clearly with patients about financial responsibility and treatment timelines. Liaise with behavioral health providers to coordinate integrated care for patients as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English. Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or a related field. Relevant experience in any of the following: healthcare front desk, rehab tech work, personal training, or wellness coaching. Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trust and empathy with patients. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinic environment. Comfortable using EMRs and learning new technology tools.
