Teacher, Elementary and Prek Brighton Private School 490 Seaboard Avenue, Hiram, GA 30141 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young students, fostering their academic and social development. This role requires a commitment to educating children, implementing curriculum standards, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Educate students in various subjects, including literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies. Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Collaborate with special education staff to support students with diverse needs, including those on the autism spectrum. Maintain an organized classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity. Provide library services by integrating reading materials into lesson plans and encouraging a love for reading. Skills Strong background in early childhood education principles. Understanding of childhood development stages to tailor instruction appropriately. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
