Position Summary:

The School Support Services Consultant serves as a key player in Launch Therapy Center’s school support service team—embedded in classrooms, partnering with educators, and helping to strengthen student success through practical, proactive behavior consultation. Working on-site in school settings, this position supports classroom teams through observation, coaching, and collaboration. The role follows the academic calendar (August-May) at 35 hours per week and is ideal for professionals who love building systems of support, modeling evidence-based practices, and bringing calm, clarity, and confidence to school teams. During non-academic months, this position may also participate in special projects such as training development, program planning, or summer pilot initiatives. These opportunities are optional and compensated separately when available.

Core Responsibilities:

Classroom Support & Consultation Observe and consult within classrooms across assigned school(s) Model evidence-based practices for classroom management and behavior support Collaborate with educators, paras, administrators, and special education teams Provide written and verbal feedback following each observation Team Collaboration & Training Attend and contribute to internal School Support Services team meetings and trainings Participate in school-led meetings as requested (e.g., IEPs, staff planning) Support a culture of continuous learning and positive staff development Data & Documentation Complete observation and consultation documentation within 24 hours of visits Conduct semesterly audits on data practices and support systems Support school teams in maintaining behavior or engagement tracking systems Scheduling & Communication Maintain weekly observation schedule in shared Google Calendar Communicate regularly with supervisor regarding school needs and goals Participate in onboarding and school-year kickoff preparation

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required Currently in a BACB-approved coursework to become a BCBA or BCaBA Prior school-based experience preferred; behavior support or coaching experience a plus Strong interpersonal and feedback-giving skills Ability to remain calm, collaborative, and strategic in active classroom environments Organized and timely with scheduling, documentation, and follow-up

Schedule & Compensation:

10-month academic role 10-Month (~Aug-May, Start of Pre-Planning-Last Day of School) 35 hours per week , Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Annual salary range : $42,000-$50,000 (based on experience and qualifications) Optional special projects may be offered during June-July, holidays, for additional pay Follows district holiday/break calendar for time off
