Summary:

The Secondary Grade Band 9-12 Hybrid CTAE Teacher/Robotics Advisor is a highly qualified, certified educator responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. This role provides an exemplary individualized and engaging educational experience for students by incorporating school and community/family partnerships, a rigorous curriculum along, and a data-driven and student-centered instructional model. First Robotics Advisor Summary The Robotics Advisor plays a critical leadership role in Georgia Cyber Academy’s high-performing FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) program. In addition to teaching coursework, the advisor oversees the day-to-day operations, mentorship, event planning, and logistical coordination for the robotics team. This hybrid position involves both remote and in-person responsibilities, requiring statewide travel and occasional out-of-state travel for competitions. Regular presence is required at the Johnson STEM Activity Center in Atlanta—typically one day per week or more depending on the season—with increased intensity during the robotics competition season (January-April), including nights and weekends .

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Education AND Two (2) years of experience teaching in grades 9-12 OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
