Your Role:
Groomer’s Assistant & Pet Care Specialist Are you a compassionate and enthusiastic individual with a love for animals? We’re seeking a dedicated Pet Care Specialist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our furry patients, while providing exceptional support to our groomers, veterinarians, and clients.
What You’ll Do:
Provide Top-Notch Animal Care:
Bathing and grooming assistance using our specialized flow system. Comprehensive care for boarded animals, including feeding, watering, medicating, and exercising. Maintaining clean and sanitary environments in suites, runs, and feline condos. Safely and efficiently transporting animals to and from kenneling areas.
Support Our Veterinary and Grooming Teams:
Assisting with animal restraint during examinations and procedures. Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Deliver Exceptional Client Service:
Greet clients with warmth and enthusiasm. Providing clear and informative updates on their pet’s care. Client Education Maintain a
Safe and Organized Environment:
Routinely checking patient areas for safety and security. Adhering to our established protocols and procedures. Embrace a
Team-Oriented Approach:
Contributing to a positive and supportive work environment. Maintaining open communication and a strong work ethic.
What We’re Looking For:
A genuine passion for animal welfare. A strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Excellent communication and customer service skills. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations. Ability to stand, sit, crouch, and walk multiple times per day. Ability to restrain pets safely.
What We Offer:
Competitive starting pay: $11 per hour.
Generous weekend pay:
