The school is now under new management, and we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for elementary or high school students. The applicant should also have a desire to see Christian education flourish. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans. Utilize the Abeka curriculum daily. Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive environment for all children, including those with special needs. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and childhood development. Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the educational journey of each child. Requirements Experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting is essential. Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
