An opportunity is available for a dedicated Educational Diagnostician to contribute to the success of students in a K-12 school setting in New Orleans, LA. Qualifications:
Active Louisiana Department of Education Certification as an Educational Diagnostician Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in diagnostic assessments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff Proficient in administering and interpreting various educational assessments
Location:
New Orleans, LA Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive educational assessments to determine students needs. Analyze assessment results and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents. Provide insights and recommendations for classroom interventions and support services. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student progress. Maintain accurate records of assessments and ensure compliance with state regulations. Support staff in understanding assessment processes and special education programs.
