Job Description
Forestdale School is searching for a Lead ABA Teacher of 3-5 year old integrated preschool students with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related diagnoses.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work closely with Lead ABA K-2 Teacher
Coordinate supervision/support to 6-10 ABA staff
Schedule ABA staff
Caseload of 6-12 students
Collaborate with classroom teachers
Collaborate and communicate with families
Family trainings
Develop, implement, model, and oversee educational and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) as needed on student performance
Attend IEP meetings
Write student IEP’s
Assess students (VB mapp, Brigance, WIATT, etc.)
Develop educational program based on assessments
Perform ABA training with students, staff, and families
Home visits (if necessary) to assess incoming students
Train new staff in DTT and behavior management
Toilet train students and assist parents with implementation at home
Must be flexible
Appropriate DESE certification is required.
BCBA required or pursuing.
